A physician's eye. A woman's urgency.

Over two decades in obstetrics and gynecology taught her exactly where women's health systems break down — and gave her no patience for waiting on someone else to fix it.

Her Story

I became a mother before I became an OB-GYN, so I experienced some of these gaps before I began seeing them in my patients. I knew what it was like to return to work quickly, without much time to think about my own recovery. Years later, perimenopause showed me another side of it and gave me a new understanding of how much these changes can affect a woman's everyday life.

My own experiences gave me personal perspective. My years as a physician showed me something bigger. Too many women were going through important changes in their health without enough information or support.

I also realized that a fifteen-minute appointment could never hold the whole conversation. Women needed more, and so did the people and organizations making decisions that affect their health. That's why my work grew beyond the exam room into education, speaking, and advising.

Through it all, I've held onto a simple belief: women deserve to understand what's happening in their bodies and have the tools and support to navigate what comes next.

Better information. Better support. Better care through every major transition in a woman's life.
